Deliveroo is all about convenience, and being able to order food without even picking up your phone would certainly be convenient!<\/p>\n

In a similar vein, does your brand name offer a possible double meaning?<\/p>\n

Service platform TaskRabbit took this idea and ran with it, saying they would bring actual bunnies with them on jobs. Adorable!<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve all been there, scanning a long to-do list and a calendar full of meetings, longing for our next holiday.<\/p>\n

Contiki\u2019s \u201csolution\u201d? A carboard cut-out of yourself that can \u201cattend\u201d meetings while you relax on a sunlounger.<\/p>\n

J Crew \u2013 the Anti-April Fool<\/h2>\n

This approach is a strong one if humour doesn\u2019t really fit your brand, or if you can\u2019t come up with something genuinely funny. Or if you          <\/ins> get the dreaded \u201cWhat are we doing for April Fools?\u201d message at 5:20pm on March 31st<\/sup> from your boss.<\/p>\n

Tackle the April Fools cliches head on, acknowledge that it\u2019s a thing, but you\u2019re consciously not getting involved. Everyone\u2019s happy.<\/p>\n

Quartz \u2013 for the (non-)fans<\/h2>\n

Not everyone likes April Fools humour.<\/p>\n

News site Quartz latch onto the idea that having to filter out fake stories from true ones can be stressful for readers, so they promote the fact that they don\u2019t get involved in April Fools at all.<\/p>\n

Just a word of warning<\/h2>\n

You might well be thinking, \u201chumour just isn\u2019t right for our brand!\u201d And that\u2019s fine. Adam Hunt, the founder of White Label Comedy, said \u201cDon\u2019t let the joke get in the way of the actual message\u201d. If you do go for a funny take, make sure it delivers your message, rather than distracting from it. \u201cFunny for the sake of it\u201d won\u2019t fill your pipeline!<\/p>\n

There\u2019s certainly a rich history to draw from if you do decide to treat your audience to an April Fool, so good luck and have fun!<\/p>\n
