We teamed up with registered psychologist Katie Hart to explore how to design the perfect landing page.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559739&quot;:80}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"TextRun SCXW127348943 BCX0\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW127348943 BCX0\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/spotler.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/iStock-1173168271-3.jpg\" width=\"483\" height=\"290\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-67591\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"67591\" \/><\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"TextRun SCXW127348943 BCX0\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW127348943 BCX0\">Why does it matter?<\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW127348943 BCX0\" data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559739&quot;:80}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">This study explored the result of altering images, videos, buttons, and text format; while you wouldn\u2019t automatically think that the placement of a button could change much, we found that even the smallest aspects of a landing page can have a significant impact on the viewer\u2019s response.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559739&quot;:80}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The most impactful variable we discovered may shock you\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4><span class=\"TextRun SCXW109924370 BCX0\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW109924370 BCX0\">How could a page layout possibly affect my mood?<\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW109924370 BCX0\" data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559739&quot;:80}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">If your website is filled with pictures of women, you could be making your customers very tense. We tested five different images and discovered that featuring a picture of a woman was the most common cause of high-stress levels in a range of demographics. Both males and females experienced high-stress arousal when viewing the female variation, with an average of 53<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/spotler.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/iStock-1058086058-3.jpg\" width=\"239\" height=\"239\" class=\"wp-image-67590 alignright\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"67590\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.29%. There was a 5.11% difference between this condition and the participants\u2019 lowest level of stress.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559739&quot;:80}\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559739&quot;:80}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">However, it\u2019s not just images that make a difference. The layout of text can encourage a user to go from their lowest point of stress to their lowest point of relaxation.
