The Hague, April 2025 – Spotler a European marketing SaaS company, is heavily investing in making AI marketing available in its software products. In a way that is very easy to adopt and makes it easy for its users to use. To make sure that developments are in line with customer needs and market demand, Spotler has created a new strategic role: Chief AI Officer. Dr. Björn Goerke, former CEO of CrossEngage / Spotler DACH, will take on this role to bring AI even further integrated into Spotler’s software.
Björn Goerke appointed as Chief AI Officer to boost AI marketing functionality in Spotler products
As AI is becoming a core part of the Spotler future, providing it in the Spotler products for customers to make better decisions, generate messages and content quicker and more effectively and to support conversations smartly. To lead this crucial area, Dr. Björn Goerke will be stepping into the role of Chief AI Officer (CAIO).
This is a significant step for Spotler, as it means Spotler now has a dedicated leader focused on AI strategy, innovation, and integration across the Spotler platforms. Björn’s expertise and vision will ensure that AI marketing becomes a true differentiator for Spotler, helping Spotler create even smarter, more powerful software for customers.
Björn’s main task will be to make sure that Spotler partners and customers start to understand, use and build on the AI parts and AI marketing functionalities of the Spotler technology. Eventually this will lead to Spotler customers either making money or saving money while using Spotler’s Generative, Conversational and Predictive AI models and tools.
With Dr Björn Goerke moving into the new CAIO role, Oliver Schmieder has taken over his role as the Managing Director of Spotler DACH. With his commercial background and drive, Oliver Schmieder is appointed to drive the further growth of Spotler DACH as a leading eCommerce marketing SaaS leader in the German-speaking part of Europe.
