An e-commerce platform that is ready for the future growth of Intersport Twinsport and embraces new opportunities. What have we done? Build and migrate to Shopware 6, brand experience, omnichannel integration, online growth, shopping experience, unique features. The transition from a custom-made platform to an open source platform is not something that can be done overnight. Together with Shopware Enterprise Partner, Intersport Twinsport started working on the renewal of the webshop in Shopware 6.
The most radical change that Sition implemented was the possibility to bundle both brands under one platform. Shopware makes it possible to display (different) content of an article per webshop. This was the first major improvement compared to the previous situation in which (the same) content management was divided over multiple channels. This caused a lot of work to be done twice and the chance of incorrect article information increased.
