When you use the AI chat assistant on our websites, we collect your messages, any details you share (such as your name, email address, company and job title), the page you were on and how you reached our site (for example a campaign source), and a chat identifier that we use to link your conversation to any form you submit.
We use this to answer your questions, follow up on your request (for example to book a demo), improve the assistant, and promote relevant products to businesses. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and promoting our products to businesses, or your request where you ask us to contact you.
The assistant is AI. Chats are processed on our behalf by Botpress, Inc. (United States) and stored in HubSpot. Messages are processed by our AI model providers, OpenAI and Google. Where data leaves the UK or EEA, it is protected by Standard Contractual Clauses. Our team may read chats to follow up and to improve the assistant.
Please don’t share sensitive personal information in the chat. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your chat data, or object to its use (including for direct marketing), at infosec@spotler.com.
