The Recipient Filter is an account-wide list of addresses SendPro should no longer send to. Hard bounces and complaints get added automatically. Soft bounces get added if they keep failing. Anything on the list gets rejected before it reaches an inbox that doesn’t want it.
Without an account-wide filter, an address that hard bounced last week could easily get emailed again next week from a different flow. Spotler SendPro fixes through filtering out recipients that bounced or complained.
Hard bounces and complaints are filtered immediately. Repeated soft bounces get filtered once the pattern looks permanent.
Non-complaint entries clear themselves after a week, unless the address bounces again in the meantime.
No wildcards or patterns. For preventive blocking, use a Discard flowstep in a flow instead.
Add an address by hand or let SendPro add it for you. Either way it shows up in the same list, with the bounce reason attached.
Open any filtered address to see exactly what happened and why, not just that it’s blocked.
A hard bounce or a complaint adds an address to the filter right away. A soft bounce doesn’t, at first. Once SendPro sees the same address failing over an extended period, it treats that as permanent and adds it too.
Add a single address with the Create recipient filter button, or bring in a whole list by CSV import. Export the list at any time. Admin, Designer and Servicedesk roles can all reach it from Reports.
The same bounce and complaint events that populate the filter can also be pushed straight into your own system.
A clean recipient list protects the sending reputation every Source depends on.
Add a Discard flowstep for preventive, pattern-based blocking that the Recipient Filter can't do.
It maintains an account-wide list of addresses SendPro should no longer send to. Any attempt to email a listed address is rejected, and the message is marked as Rejected in your reporting.
Hard bounces and complaints are added right away. Soft bounces aren’t added immediately, but if the same address keeps soft bouncing over an extended period, SendPro treats that as a permanent problem and adds it too.
Not necessarily. Non-complaint entries clear themselves after a week, unless the address bounces again in that time. That keeps the list current without manual cleanup.
Yes. Use the Create recipient filter button to add a single address, or import a CSV to add several at once, with fields for address, type, date and reason. Export the list at any point from the same screen.
No. Only exact addresses are accepted, not wildcards like *@spamtrap.com. For preventive, pattern-based blocking, add a Discard flowstep to the relevant flow instead.
