SendPro’s Message Archive keeps a complete copy of every message, so support, compliance and legal can see precisely what a recipient received, on a retention period you control per flow.
A recipient disputes a charge. A regulator asks for evidence of a disclosure. A customer swears the attachment was never there. Here’s how SendPro fixes that:
Full body, every alternate MIME part and every attachment are stored together, so what you retrieve later is what the recipient actually received.
Set an account-wide maximum (up to 1 year), then shorten or extend it per message type to match what each message type actually needs.
Archive is a flow step, placed and configured exactly where you need it, with an optional condition so only the messages that qualify get stored.
Inherit the account maximum set in Setup > Settings, or override it on any individual flow (1 month, 3 months, 6 months or 1 year) to match the message type.
Add an Enabled expression in Freemarker to archive only the messages that qualify (a payment type, an order status, a locale) instead of everything a flow sends.
Body, alternate parts and attachments are stored together as a set, not summarised or stripped down. Retention follows the account maximum, or you can override it on any individual flow to match the message type.
Archive only the messages that meet your criteria, let support or recipients open a stored message via an online view link, and keep the reasoning behind a flow’s setup in its Comments field.
Pull an archived message back up and send it again, without rebuilding it from scratch.
Delivery, open, click and complaint data for every message, with a message-level audit trail behind each one.
Build the exact sending logic each message type needs for tracking, archiving, routing and more.
A complete copy of the message: the full body, every alternate body part, and every attachment. You can view it later exactly as it was sent, not a reconstruction from today’s template or data.
By default, retention follows the account maximum set in Setup > Settings for Message Archive. On an individual flow, you can override that with a shorter or equal period (1 month, 3 months, 6 months or 1 year) to suit the message type.
Yes. Tick “Set condition for this flow step” and add an Enabled expression written in Freemarker, a fixed value like true or false, a data field such as orderPaid, or a comparison like paymentType == “CREDITCARD”, so the step only fires for messages that match.
Yes, if “Allow view online link in messages” is enabled on the Archive step. The message can then be opened via an online link, without needing to dig it out of an inbox or a database.
Archive is a flow step like any other — add it from the flow builder and configure the Main and Advanced tabs for retention, the online link and any condition. Full setup steps are in the Help Center article on the Archive flow step.
Archiving messages is available from SendPro Basic upward. Overall message history in your account defaults to 90 days on Basic and up to 1 year (3 years of metadata only) on Premium and Enterprise; the Archive flow step’s retention setting works within your account’s maximum, so check your plan if you need a longer account-wide ceiling.
