What does customer relationship management mean?

Customer relationship management (or CRM) shows the processes companies have to acquire and maintain customers. Often it includes having a place to store contact and account data, and setting up (workflow) automations to plan periodic tasks (such as regular check in calls or emails).

What does lead management mean?

Lead management means nurturing new or existing contacts to the point they are ready to convert to paying customers. It’s a complex process involving both marketing and sales teams. CRM products can include tools and integrations to support multiple stages in the sales cycle such as scoring, nurturing, lead tracking.

How do you track the activities of contacts and companies?

We use ‘digital activities’. This is how we describe all web and email behaviour such as: pages viewed, medium, source, term, email campaign sent, email opens, link clicks, lead score, and more.

What tools do I need to manage my leads and customers?
